What does it mean to be Original?
Of course being the CEO of Original Piece and Original Piece Mag I do have an opinion on what it means to be Original. Being Original today is different then it was 100 years ago or even 50 years ago. Times have been changing rather quickly and being Original today is not the same as days gone by. When you think back we had Original’s like Coco Chanel, Audrey Hepburn, Annie Oakley, Rockefeller’s, Vanderbilt’s, and Steven Jobs. They added greatness through the vision of fashion, entertainment, business, or entrepreneurship that has withstood the test of time. They were successful because they were Original at what they did.
Our society has not seen too many true Originals in the last few decades. Originality has become buried in layers of copying, confusion greed, and technology. This causes us to loose ourselves and forget that God gave all of us a purpose in life and each of us are different and gifted.
Where is the greatness of Originality?
“Original means being great and fearless to do something first.” That is a quote from me. We cannot copy being Original it does not work that way, you have to find your Originality and embrace it. My advice is to remember that God put all of us on this Earth with pre-programed DNA unique to only you. Being an Original is a gift that was given ONLY to you. You can’t look around to find your Originality. You have to look within yourself and when you discover it you will see something in yourself like never before. You are the revolution of an Original that will be successful and remembered for your very own greatness.
