Great Gatsby Makeover Edition

I got my make-up done at Sephora for the first time. It was such a fun experience! The make-up artist was knowledgable and talked me through the steps as she was doing my make-up to help me in re-creating the look at home. Not to mention, I got to try new products and learn new tricks to applying my make-up. My favorite trick was how to contour my nose! 🙂
In honor of our Great Gatsby Party tomorrow, I decided to have my make-up Gatsby inspired with a modern twist. I love the dramatic eye with sparkle and dark lip!
The Products used:
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills  Brow Powder duo
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Light to Medium
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit
  • Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick and Lip Liner in Famous
  • Huda Beauty Eye Lashes(Scarlet)
  • Make-up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation
  • Make-up For Ever Aqua XL Color Paint Shadow in Black and Iridescent Warm Beige
  • Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Glamrock (we used to create glitter on the lid.)
  • Urban Decay MoonDust Palette.
With makeup brands launching new products daily, it is easy to get lost in the make-up trends or stick with what you know in fear of trying something new. If you are like me, you fall somewhere in between. After such a positive experience with my “make-over,” I promised myself I would go once a quarter (every three months) to get a make-over to learn new techniques, try must-have products, and try new make-up looks.
